Every instruction, every viewing, every “is it still available?” email starts with one moment: someone sees a home on a screen and decides whether it feels right.
That moment is no longer a commodity. Buyers and tenants compare several agencies before breakfast. Landlords compare how their property looks next to the one two streets over. The photography still matters — but so does the stage it sits on: speed, clarity, mobile touch, maps that make sense for island life, and a path from interest to conversation that does not fight the user.
This article is the story of how we got here, what the new site does, and an open invitation: if you are thinking of selling or letting, we would like you to list with us.
Digital presentation has been part of ND Estates for a long time. The platforms have changed; the brief has not: put Jersey homes in front of the right people, clearly and professionally.
Our online presence grew out of The Bigger Picture on Property — the early digital chapter of how we told the story of Jersey residential property. In 2013 we moved to a full Concrete5 site. For nearly a decade it was the public face of ND Estates online.
By the early 2020s that site had become obsolete and dated. Mobile expectations, security and the way people search had moved on. A short chapter on Craft CMS taught us that “newer CMS” is not the same as “right home for ND Estates.” We put a temporary website in place as a bridge while we designed and engineered the real replacement.
The site we are releasing now is that destination: a modern application built around our design system, our listing workflow, and our way of serving Jersey.
Photography and imagery come first. Listings are presented with strong primary images, clear galleries and print-ready detail so your property looks the part on a phone, a laptop, or a forwarded brochure. Your home is the hero — not crushed by clutter.
Accessibility matters. We designed the site to work more clearly on modern phones and desktops: readable type, usable forms, keyboard-friendly controls where it counts, and status that is obvious (Available, Under offer, and the rest) so nobody is left guessing. Filters get out of the way when someone is trying to use the map. Nothing damages trust faster than a site that still shouts “Available” after a sale or let has moved on.
Not everyone thinks in filters. Many islanders think in places. Map view pins live listings on Jersey. On phone and tablet you can switch between a list of homes and the map, keep search filters tucked away so the map stays usable, and draw a box or area to focus on the part of the island you care about.

Before go-live, vendors and landlords can review and approve a draft listing on a personal, time-limited link — photos, copy and price on any device — while the property stays offline from the open catalogue.
How vendor listing preview works
Once your property is live, you can follow website interest on a private vendor link: listing visits and engagement stats for your home only. Enquirer personal data stays with the office; you see the marketing performance that matters — how people find and view your property on the ND Estates site.

Applications stay with ND Estates. Tenancy and related application forms are hosted by us. Applicants complete the journey on the ND Estates website — not via a patchwork of third-party forms — so consent, detail and follow-up stay under one professional roof for Jersey property.
